Giving Good Face When Things Go Wrong: Improv Techniques for Seamless Performances

It’s an accepted truth that live theater is magical because things go wrong. Mishaps are bound to happen. Whether it's a missed cue, a forgotten reveal, or a technical glitch, how you handle these moments can make all the difference between a memorable performance and a forgettable one. "Giving Good Face When Things Go Wrong" is a dynamic workshop designed to equip performers with the tools and techniques of improvisation to navigate unexpected challenges with grace and confidence.

We'll cover topics such as Staying Present, Embracing Mistakes, Quick Thinking, Physicality and Facial Expressions, and more.

Led by Miss Violet DeVille, a seasoned burlesque, improv instructor, and performer, this workshop will delve into the art of staying present, adaptable, and engaging even when things don't go as planned.
